You must be well aware of the word ‘solar system’. Our solar system consists of 9 planets and a sun. The earth on which we are living is a part of solar system. The energy which we receive from sun is called as solar energy. It is taken by the earth in many different forms like it is used by plants to grow, evaporation of water bodies, heating up of air and in several other ways. Solar energy is called as a renewable source of energy as we can never use it fully.
