Solar energy is a great thing…people just have to be a little patient and allow the technology to get better and cheaper so it can be used in more applications.
If the payback for a home is currently 5 years then why aren’t every house set up 5 years is a given you reach 15 years the system would still have 10 years warranty in most cases and have paid for itself 3 times never ahving a power failure due to winter weather or car crashing to your wires somewhere.

The Pacific NW does better than Florida as well as Germany – for PV. They may have more sun, but PV Panels does work as well if they get too hot.
California to Texas is a sweet zone for Solar Thermal however. We can do it fine in the NW, but they get better values for heating spaces as well as water, and pools.
Nice overview – apparently by the History Channel…who would display a higher quality picture.
Best Wishes to Nano-Solar – OR & WA are ready and want to Manufacture with you!
Thanks for the history, as well as the science; this is very interesting ….. especially the word about Germany being the most successful at solar and that Germany has LESS SUN THAN SEATTLE> that bit of news gives a lot of hope to the rest of us!!!
Another method Two points of method: (1) Two waters, separated, zero pressure and house pressure, and (2) Use principle of heat-exchange to take heat from zero pressure to house pressure by running copper metal tubing with house pressure, inside the zero pressure water. The copper metal does a very good job of transferring the heat, and many times better than plastic or rubber. Mixing sand and water in the zero pressure water is probably better. Thin aluminum may contain the zero pressure water.
Do you intend to set up a homemade wind power plant? The most important thing to assure the success of a homemade power system is its plan. Wind power generating system using a windmill is not an exception. The best windmill plan should be including these following features: Guidance documents with illustrations: Visual descriptions with […]
What can we do to cope with world energy crisis today? The first thing we can do right away is to save the existing power with several saving methods. Second, we can try our ways making more power using alternative energy resources. Most popular homemade solutions are wind and solar power systems. Herein after some […]
A wind generator is equipment for producing electrical power using wind energy. The machine catches the wind power and conveys it into mechanical energy. This mechanical energy drives the move of the blades (or paddle) in a motor to produce electricity power. Nowadays wind generators contribute thousands of megawatts (MW) of electricity to network. Wind [... […]
The Sun is a gigantic fusion reactor which radiates energy into space. The amount of energy our planet receives in one hour from the Sun is of the same dimension as the world energy consumption in one year. This energy drives the water cycle, causes winds and provides light and heat. The use of these […]
From a little girl’s smile right up to nuclear fusion, energy is the spark of change. For this is issue of ambitions, we turn to a special group of energy experts. We asked children on five continents to answer the question: What is energy? We use energy everyday, sometimes even without noticing. Everything we do […]
The thermosyphon (thermosiphon ormonobloc) solar water heater is one of the simplest, most economical, and, I believe, the best type of solar water heater. It’s a passive system, meaning that it has no mechanical or electrical devices that make it work. Only the sun’s energy is needed to heat the water in the solar collector […]
Solar energy is radiant energy that is produced by the sun. Every day the sun radiates, or sends out, an enormous amount of energy. The sun radiates more energy in one second than people have used since the beginning of time! Where does the energy come from that constantly radiates from the sun? It comes […]
Energy is essential for life. Since prehistoric times, when man used bonfires to keep warm at night or to cook food, energy has been the force behind human evolution. In its various forms, energy now moves vehicles and even rockets that will take us to new frontiers in space. Paradoxically, the use of fossil fuels […]
The use of solar power Solar power has been used in traditional buildings for long time. In recent years, however, it has provoked great interest, as the high cost and limited supply of fossil fuels becomes increasingly problematic in some developed countries. Many businesses and institutions are researching new ways to harness solar power and […]

can you imagine panel plants in every desert over the world producing free energy for every one on the Planet.

Great video…
I’ve been using a Magnetic Generator to power my kitchen appliances using the plans at:

what channel is this. Its the “H” symbol.
top information, thanks
